Pastor Dean Herring
Bro. Herring accepted the Lord at the age of twelve and surrendered to preach when he was seventeen. He met his wife, Susie, while attending Bible College and they were married in 1975. The Lord has blessed the Herrings with 6 children. The Herrings spent thirty years in Georgia where he served 8 years as a youth minister, 2 years in evangelism, and 20 years as a pastor. He has had the privilege of preaching numerous youth camps and family/marriage conferences, along with preaching several revivals and missions conferences across America each year. In November of 2005, they moved to Idaho to begin the work that God had led them to do. In February, 2006, the South Valley Baptist Church had its first service with 43 present, and 6 people accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior.
